michelle hsiao-yu au In answer to the top ten basic trivia questions about me: 1.) I'm 24 years old. 2.) Born and raised in New York City. 3.) Attended Wellesley College for Proper Young Ladies, graduated in 1999. 4.) Currently a fourth year medical student at Columbia University in New York City. 5.) I'm applying for a residency in Pediatrics, meaning that I will be a Kiddie Doctor 6.) I'm Chinese, though sometimes mistaken for Korean, Japanese, and, once, randomly, Laotian. 7.) I can't drive, because I grew up in Manhattan. Let's get that out there now, before you find out later, fall down in shock, and ruin your nice clothes. 8.) While it might seem strange to have a personal introduction section on a website for people invited to our wedding, we also realize that (with the exception of our immediate family and friends from medical school) there were important people in Joe's life who hadn't gotten a chance to know Michelle very well yet, and vice versa.
